These environment friendly pulp containers are made from bagasse, a by-product of sugar cane processing. They are made to fit the lids tightly (lids sold separately). It has a PLA lining and this product is certified compostable.

BPI® ensures that the product meets the standard and specifications required to be compostable
Accreditation for products with demonstrated biobased content – meaning the ingredients come from renewable biological sources
Packaging or products featuring the OK compost INDUSTRIAL label are guaranteed as biodegradable in an industrial composting plant
OK compost HOME guarantees complete biodegradability in the light of specific requirements, in home garden compost heaps
Recyclable in locations where facilities exist

– Unlaminated PULP items may be used in both industrial and backyard composters. (Compliant to ASTM 6868 as certified by BPI and TUV Austria. Ok compost Home as certified by TUV Austria).

– Some industrial composters may not be available in your area.
